Plus, campers from other parts of the U.S. and the world, seeking weight loss treatment that works.

Wellspring Wisconsin is just one of the 12 Wellspring summer programs around the world helping young people and their families lose weight and learn a healthy lifestyle. There is a Wellspring program near you to provide the help you need to return to a healthy weight.

Our location on the UWP campus offers very comfortable lodging. Campers have one roommate in a double-occupancy dormitory room with air conditioning and laundry facilities in the basement. Wellspring’s dorm has a lounge for relaxing after a fun and challenging day.

Southwest Wisconsin’s charm becomes clear in Platteville. Surrounded by rolling hills, the area features some of the most amazing sights in Wisconsin. Platteville also offers a wide range of recreational opportunities like hiking or biking the scenic landscape. On the side of what is called Platte Mound stands a large letter “M” that symbolizes all the work the University’s Engineering Department has accomplished over the years. The 300 stairs up the side of the letter “M” can be a capstone fitness achievement for campers interested in a challenge. In contrast, the city’s historic downtown shopping district makes for a great way to leisurely spend a day.
